A behind-the-scenes tour of Salt Lake City International Airport gives visitors a rare look at airport operations. Guests explore areas like baggage handling, security, and learn how staff work together to keep flights safe, on time, and running smoothly. All participants must wear appropriate closed-toe footwear with good soles to help prevent slips and falls. Participants with sandals, flip flops or open toe shoes will not be allowed to go on the tour. The tour will bring you into the Aircraft Operations Area so we ask that no loose items be brought on the tour such as hats and earbuds. The tour will also bring you into the secured area of the airport so please do not bring any backpacks or large purses or anything that would otherwise not be allowed through a screening checkpoint.
A tour of the farm at Thanksgiving Point Farm offers a fun, hands-on look at farm life. Visitors will be visiting three areas, the Grow Tech Gardens, Innovation Station and the Livestock Learning Lab. This venue is an amazing learning opportunity for schools and families and a great asset to the community.

This session will also include processes that can be utilized by small districts who may not have a dedicated data person.
