About me
I love helping students understand the importance of financial literacy in their lives. Knowing how money works and how to manage it responsibly lessens the stresses of life. Credit cards, taxes, buying a car, understanding how insurance works, and investing for the future should not be scary or confusing for anyone. Math teachers have a unique opportunity to help students develop their money skills because math and money go hand in hand.
I also believe that entrepreneurship can open doors for students as they learn to make money while doing what they love.
From a personal standpoint, I enjoy talking about gardening, hiking, and I love to swap stories about growing up in a large family in Wisconsin.
